Hi, I’m Pat White, a User Interface & Motion Designer based in Berkeley, CA. Get in touch at patwhitecreative@gmail.com.

I design digital products that inspire users to create and connect. I’m passionate about using motion to prototype experiences.

My career jump-started as a founding member of Cameo, an App for iOS awarded 'Best of 2013' by Apple and later acquired by Vimeo. I worked at Vimeo to design and launch an all new version of Cameo until 2015 when I began freelancing with .

I then co-founded and shipped PartyPlay, an Apple tvOS App bringing fun visuals to your living room. From there, I started to contract with Facebook and Apple.

My creativity and attention to detail has been trusted by top executives with my work displaying in the Main Stage Keynotes at Facebook’s F8 and Apple’s WWDC. In October of 2018 I had the opportunity to work with Apple at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), where I owned the MacOS screen animations in Apple’s Macbook Air 2018 Product film.

In 2019, after wrapping up a Motion Design project with Twitter, I embarked on a long-awaited three month journey traveling throughout SE Asia with my laptop and camera.

In 2020, I joined Welcome Travel AI, a mobile app in the travel space, as Director of Product Design. Welcome is an AI platform providing users with curated and personalized recommendations of where to go and eat, at home or while traveling. While at Welcome, we also launched Tripnotes, which uses AI to automatically generate unique travel itineraries based on any input from the user.

In May of 2023, Welcome was acquired by Dorsia. Dorsia is a members-only platform providing access to the most in-demand restaurants in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and London. As Head of Design, Consumer, I’m focused on the user experience, product design (iOS), growth, managing our design team, and collaborating directly with leadership and other teams.

Below is a collection of my work.
