Tripnotes is a travel planning platform for Web and iOS. As Director of Product Design, I lead web, mobile, and marketing efforts through UX & UI design, prototyping, animation and user research. Below is a product demo of Tripnote’s A.I. Concierge on the web, which we used to soft launch the product. This demo was posted on Twitter on March 20th, 2023 and has generated over 400k video views, 1.3M Tweet views, and 50k new users as of April 6, 2023. Designed in Figma. Animated in After Effects.
Before we soft launched, we pushed a series of animated demos via the CEO’s Twitter account, driving traffic to our website. We garnered over 6k unique waitlist signups and we were able to gauge demand for various features. We had over 1M demo video views across platforms in just a few weeks.
The second video demo in the series featured our web app, demonstrating how Tripnotes automatically analyzes text from any source, then links and adds them to the map panel.
Our third video in the series showed how Tripnotes can take advantage of iOS 16’s Live Activities to leverage content in users’ notes without the need to open the app during travel.
